I love me some Wahoo's. The banzai burrito is my go to, I just love the sauce the use and the veggies are on point. I get it with fish, it's a bit pricier and smaller in size, but the flavor is just so good, I want two every time... Service is nice, the place well kept, like the vibe and decor, 5 stars if they up the portions or lower the prices by a buck or two.

Love this place. Love the chicken taquitos and the chips and salsa are the best. Great food and great service.

Another awesome Wahoos joint! They are faster here than other Wahoos' I've been to that's for sure and worthy of that fifth star. Only thing that could use improvement is the seating...our food came out before we could find an open seat, that's how busy it is at lunch here. Try to get there early, if the line is out the door, find another place...seating will be limited. That said...their busyness is a testament to their awesome food. I've been grubbin on the Banzai Burrito lately...it's perfect fuel before a monster mountain bike ride in the hills!

Wahoos! Simple food. The best chicken ever! The "outer reef burrito" is absolutely delicious and a good price. Their fish tacos are really tasty too. I just wish that I got more salsa, because I absolutely love it! Great staff, always friendly and asking how you are and if you need anything. My order has never come out wrong or been slow even when really busy. To top it off they always play great music in here!

I had the carnita bowl and iced tea last time I was there. The meat was really dry and the iced tea tasted funny... But the people there are nice.

I have absolutely never understood why people like this place. IMO, the food is really bland, and the chicken is really rubbery. I'm sure I've had the wrong items every time I've been there, because every time I say "I don't like Wahoo's" people have this look on their face like ... whhhattttt!??!?!... The past 3 or 4 times I've been there I've gotten just a regular chicken burrito. The beans were really boring, and everything was really dry and... gross. Whatever, someone convince me otherwise and I'll try it.

Food: The food here is good, I don't know if the price equates to how good the food is but its one of those places you can go every once in a while. They put alot of cabbage onto the tacos so I always get it without it. I love the white rice, its good. Service: The service here is good, they are friendly and remember you after a few times. This place is good and I would recomend it.

Quality food and friendly service. Bowls are awesome. The Kalua pork is a sleepy on the menu!

I love this place. Great service and good food and healthy. I got the Bonsai Bowl. It's great that it comes with any protein...YEAH!! Lots of Mr. Lees sauce helped too. It's good that the servers bring your food out and then come back by to see if everything is ok. I love that! Great music. I'll be back again and again. Plenty of parking lot. Plenty of dining space.

This is the problem with small franchises, inconsistency. The grilled fish tacos tasted like dog food, they were rubbery and definitely overcooked. The lime rice, which is usually my favorite thing there, was bland and flavorless. Never going here again.

We came here for lunch today at Wahoo's of Yorba Linda and while we were standing in line we noticed a sticker that said "we honor AAA discount here, show your card." When we showed our AAA card we were told there was no such discount. We showed the manager the sticker and he still denied that there was a discount. While we were eating an employee told a box cutter and scraped off two AAA stickers. Customer service was not good. What happened? Wahoo's used to have great service.

Wanted to try this place for sometime and finally did try on May 4 around 2 pm. Great disappointment specially with the girl ( Odi something) who was at front taking orders. No treating, smile, welcome. Her her attitude was if you are here give me order and your money ang get out. She was busy counting money in register. Very dry, totally un friendly. Food was ok and the so was ther server. No not going back. Will stay with Califonia fish n grill.

I come here all the time and I love this place. I got the 2 enchilada combo with pinto beans....green sauce...white rice. There's just something about that green sauce that I love. Their service is great and have affordable prices.

I've always loved wahoos! Always. But for some reason this visit the food was just Ehhhh. Seems like they've lost something. Not sure what it is but it just didn't seem the same. This location just like the rest is clean and employees are pleasant. I just wasn't into the food for some reason. Maybe it was just me. But will always love wahoos.

I finally decided to try Wahoo's. I was not impressed. I don't get what all the hype is about! I had fish tacos. I could barely eat it. All I tasted was the veggies, which were not good. The only reason I gave it two stars is because I like the atmosphere. Everything is covered in stickers, which looks pretty cool and unique, and the employees seemed nice enough. But, I will not eat there again.

Not sure why this location doesn't have a stronger yelp following? Oh well, they got me I guess, I am a looooong time fan. It's always fairly busy especially lunch time during the work week. Maybe that's why this location has such exceptional service......they're ALWAYS on top of it here.....and pleasant too. Anyway, if you want some grub quick-style, made with a little extra care and quality, check this place out. Banzai Chicken Bowl with Brown Rice and Spicy White Beans: yelp.com/biz_photos/RX_C…

This review is just based on their food and not their service which I feel is great. This last visit made me remember why I stopped going here....the food is just OK. There really is nothing special to it and it wouldn't be far off to say that fast food eateries have more flavor. Maybe it is what I'm ordering--I do like their green sauce and just tried the enchiladas which were better than what I normally order--tacos and bowls.

Been a Wahoo's fan since it first opened! My office was in walking distance so our 'group' ate here almost every Friday for lunch for years! This is one of the best Wahoo's I have been too. Really good service and friendly people! No attitudes! Food is always good. Tons of rice and beans with everything. I love their rice! My norm is the #2 with 2 chicken tacos! The #5 Kahuna Grande with a taco or enchilada and 3 taquitos is great if you are hungry and feel like some fried goodness (bad-ness). Killer chicken taquitos! Definitely not on the healthy eating plan tho!! This place gets crowded at lunch sometimes, especially on Fridays and you can actually have a hard time getting a table if you have more than 4 people with you. And it seems to get HOT in there when it is crowded with people. Too bad they don't have an outside patio like other locations. Grab a 'Beer of the Month' .... always a killer deal!

Another great place by my work. I came here last week for lunch. Ordered two grilled fish tacos, with rice and beans. Great food! Big tacos! I really only ate the tacos because they are that big! The rice and beans are good, I just couldn't fit any more food in my stomach. The fish was well grilled, but were a bit dry. So I just added some tomato salsa and it was all better. This place gets super busy at lunch! I came here around 1pm and was actually able to find a place to sit.

I've been coming here for a few years and was ok with the food. This time, not a fan. I got steak enchiladas with red sauce. The sauce tasted like tomato soup. A very light red color, not deep like enchilada sauce should be. Service was fine as always but no going back for me.

This last trip was such a disappointment. I've been eating at this Wahoo's for years. I was eating there 3-4 times a week. My favorite menu item was the "Big Kahuna" (which is no longer on the menu). But it was a taco or enchilada, beans/rice and (3) taquitos. Was a huge fan, clearly since I ate there so often. Last year I moved to Corona so it's been awhile since I have been to this location. Let me just say, they made a change to their menu that gets a huge thumbs down for me. My enchilada and rice were still great, but the they have totally changed the taquitos. Now they cut them into pieces (who does that)? When they cut them, the ends are cut at an angle so you lose about 30% of the actual taquito. Not to mention it exposes the meat to the fryer and you get yucky, greasy meat instead of it being cooked inside the shell. The next bummer is, the are super stingy with the guacamole. They gave me about a tablespoon and it was already turning brown so I guess I am glad they didn't give me more. Then they dump the cut up pieces on top of the quac and sour cream instead of serving it on the side like normal. What a mess! I guess this is their attempt to save money? I'm not sure whose bright idea this was, but change it back please...this is my favorite menu item and I really have no reason to go back now. Such a total bummer. This used to be one of my favorite joints!

Wahoo's is awesome. The fish tacos are second to none. The rice and beans are exceptional and spiced perfectly. The food is always fresh, and the staff is efficient. If you're looking for a good, fresh, and healthy meal....look no further.

One of my Orange County favorites! Started in the late 80's, Wahoo's has been serving the SoCal community with some of the best surf food out there. Their food is a mixture of Mexican, Brazilian and Asian fare. Not only is the food fresh and tasty, they are big in the community promoting many local events. Wahoo's has a great partnership with the surfing and skateboarding community as well. There are several options of protein to choose from for your entree and the portions are generous. I tried the Outer Reef Burrito this time and it was delicious. I love walking out of this place full, but in a good way.

I'm a fan of Wahoo's. Although I'm a fan of taco stand Mexican food where everything is deep fried and covered in cheese and sauce, sometimes I want something a bit more clean. That's usually when I come to Wahoo's. Yes, you will pay a little more here than going to other "Mexican" places and yes, I used quotations around Mexican. The reason is because some people argue that Wahoo's is not Mexican. Be that as it may, I like it here. The salsa is good and always tastes fresh. The only thing I was a little frustrated by was the wait I had after placing a phone order. I called to order my food for take out and when I got there I still had to wait about 10 minutes or so before my food was ready. I just ordered a salad so it wasn't anything complicated with 45 substitutions. Not sure what that was about.

This is the wahoos that I grew up going to ALL the time. Of course. The 1st ones all us SoCal kids went to was the downtown HB location, but once Wahoos started expanding there was no need to make the trek! Obviously everyone knows the fish tacos are good here, they are not my favorite fish tacos and I rarely order them. I usually get the bowls, they do a really good job with them. The Maui Bowl is one of my favorites, it's teriyaki marinated steak with choice of beans (black or Cajun pinto) and rice (white or brown). I get the black beans and brown rice in an effort to keep it healthier, plus they're really good! My all time favorite bowl is to order half Maui bowl and half blackened chicken bowl!! The blend of the spicy and sweet and chicken and meat is pretty epic! I really like that they offer beer of the month deals on a different beer each month too! The service is pretty standard wahoos service at this location, which is usually pretty good and friendly. The location is the only negative about this place, it's out of the way in Savi Ranch causing me to go about half as much as I'd like to! They still are busy, even with the location. MY GO-TO DISH: Wahoo's Bowl half Maui and half blackened chicken with brown rice and black beans!! You won't regret it.

Good food, great atmosphere, cool people. Riddled with action sports stickers. TV's always playing action sports movies. Tortilla soup is good. Known for their fish tacos but have plenty other good items on the menu. Also serve alcohol which is rare with fast food.

Checked to see if I had reviewed this place before. Doesn't look like I have. So here it goes. I just love the place. Their tacos always taste sooooo fresh. The only thing that I wish they'd change is the chicken. It doesn't taste that authentic. I understand given that it's a seafood place. But the fish here is awesome. Where else can you get wild salmon for $9, along with the side dishes? What a deal. The citrus slaw taco is just fantastic. It's a relatively new item on the menu and I just can't get myself to buy anything else after trying it. The other dishes look just as good but I just can't let my slaw go! On my birthday I had my choice to go anywhere and I chose Wahoo's. I'm pretty low maintenance when it comes to food but I think it says something to come here on my birthday, no?

Not a ton of surprises here. This Wahoo's is busier than most I guess cause of the neighboring office buildings. But they do a good job getting the food out on time. Food is consistently accurate and flavorful. I enjoy the chill atmosphere and the friendly staff. Monthly beer specials are rad. Find me here around 1pm on Wahoo's Wednesdays.

As a constantly bumbling family of five that is always ready and eager to hit the road, Wahoo's is a must. Especially this one; which has NEVER failed to find us leaving with full bellies and bright smiles from both us and the workers. Let's be honest here. We all value our time and our money. Why have to sacrifice any? The food came in 2 minutes after placing our order. Time: Check The total bill for our family was $30. That's $7 a person, with extra chips, salsa, and beer to add. Money: Check. Another thing to add: management, you may all give yourselves a big pat on the back. Your staff was SUPER busy today, yet they managed to welcome each and every customer with bright smiles and accommodating attitudes. Employees: Passing with flying colors. So what are all you Yelpers waiting for? Put down the reviews and come to Wahoo's. We'll probably be there.

love everything about wahoos first time I went here was before they were a huge chain..the original one was in the not so nice part of costa mesa..I was happy when they started expanding so nice when they built one close to where i live now. always fresh, healthy and tastey..my favorite thing to eat is the carnitas tacos..black beans and white rice..great salsa..i love their ice teas ..they have two kinds.I always get the mexican ice cream bars..yummy.eat there or take out. They are great because food and service is always great, great.great they have got their business principles right..nice prices too!

I just dont get Wahoos. I have been to Wahoos many times and still find the quality of the food compared to the price unbalanced. I just don't think that wahoos is that great of a restaurant chain. But the service is great and the atmosphere is wonderful and fun. The only time I go to Wahoos is if my wife or friends want to eat there. We ordered some fish tacos and 3 plates. 1 Maui Bowl, 1 Kahlua Pork bowl and a chicken dish. The beef was tough and the pork was dry. I think their rice is very bland and I hate their salsa. It is just tomatoes , onion and cilantro with water I think. I dont think its the worst mexicali food. But definitely would not recommend it to anyone that wants experience something new.

Pretty solid restaurant. This place is consistent every time I come in, hopefully I didn't just jinx myself by stating that. I either order the shrimp burrito, tacos or bowl or the teriyaki steak which is also very good. Not super huge on the fish here, kinda dry for me but not terrible at all. I regularly visit this place due to their healthy options and good food for the price. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends and family for sure. A good option in this area for sure.

Ok this is a true story, I live in downtown Huntington and work in Yorba Linda, I live on Wahoos. it's a daily ritual for me I am in a matter of speaking the surfing version of Jerrod how he enjoyed eating that sub shops sandwiches wont mention names doing a Wahoo review but let me tell you first as being part dolphin and full surfer, I can't go a day without a dose of Wahoo's, i love the slaw fish tacos paired with chicken taquitos of course or the outer reef burrito fish or chicken spicy with black beans and brown rice or a wahoo bowl fish spicy Mr. Lee yea I am Wahoo UP daily it's my thing and I LOVE and am beloved by the staff at both locations we have built a bond for life and the food and service is healthy it makes me happy and I must shout if from the rafters :) Mahalo Braddah's and Sista's T.K.

Three and a half stars. Got the blackened/cajun? fish tacos with brown rice and black beans. The tacos themselves were just ok, I think I'm going to order the mild next time. I didn't really like the spices on the spicy fish, it was just a weird kind of cajun spice but not real cajun flavor ya know what I mean? Like I could tell they tried to make it spicy but it just wasn't... My favorite was actually the brown rice. I don't know if they make it special or anything but I really love brown rice. It's so much more interesting than white rice. It's nutty and some of the black bean juices seeped underneath the rice and made it a little less chewy but so good and flavorful. That's definitely a good combo. Of course, stole a bite of my boyfriend's carnitas and rice. Carnitas were tender and flavorful, from the small bite I took. The rice wasn't flavorful or anything. That cilantro (&lime?) rice has nothing on chipotle's rice. I love chipotle's rice. It's so flavorful somehow.... Anyhoo, pretty ok fish tacos, I'll come here when I want to try to feel a litttle healthier cause the meal was pretty light and didn't weigh me down too much! :)

Love this place so much! One of the few places that us adults and kids are happy at and can all find something to eat. I enjoy the fact that it is on the healthier side and there are actually plenty of Weight Watchers friendly options. We literally come here at least once a week. I wanted to also mention how terrific all of their staff are ... Here and seriously every other Wahoo's location that I've been to. It's nice to see a business with consistently great customer service.

The decor in this place is awesome! it feels like a beachfront board shop (or what I imagine a beach front board shop to look like ... I guess I wouldn't really know, being from Montreal, but anyway....). There are stickers all over the tables and walls, and even a few of the windows. Orders are placed at the counter - you grab a number and take a seat. The staff is friendly and service is quick. I've tried the fish taco, shrimp taco and mushroom taco. The tacos are fresh and light. The fish and shrimp are grilled, not fried, and tacos are topped with pico and shredded cabbage. The food is good, but not exceptional. There's something about the atmosphere that makes you want to come back, though.

We have eaten at several Wahoo Fish Taco restaurants, and the food is fairly consistent between locations, better tasting than fast food without the restaurant wait. However, the service at this Wahoo's location in Yorba Linda is better than other Wahoo locations, the staff is extremely polite and accommodating, the food is always ready in a short amount of time (even when it is very busy), and they clean up tables immediately after customers leave the restaurant. We eat here at least once every two weeks now, we love the grilled salmon filet, the canjun chicken salad, and of course, the fish tacos. Wahoo's Yorba Linda location is worth visiting.

Is Wahoo's Considered Fast Food? This is the closest to fast food I have had since I started yelping. I have been to various locations in the past. This is the first time back in years. I think the only reason we ate here is because there is nothing but corporate type and fast food type restaurants in this area. We were returning from shopping. I actually was surprised. I ordered the kids bowl with chicken. It seemed pretty large to be for a child. The chicken was ok. It was mixed in a bowl with rice and beans and I mixed freshly cut tomato's that came on the side. It made for a pretty descent lunch and not very costly. This location is very well kept, nice and clean. I think the area needs more diversity with selection of foods. As I am a fan of family owned businesses, I think, generally speaking, these types of places take the unique part of dining away. I can tell you stories about yummy dishes I have had in Mexico...that were not much different from eating in East LA or Santa Ana.

I love Wahoos. I've been addicted to the #2 combo with 2 tacos, spicy white beans, and white rice for about 5 years. Seriously, I love them beans 'n rice. I also love all the veggie friendly choices. Tofu, mushrooms, veggies, hoorah! But this particular location smells like the nail salon next door. That was kind of a bummer.

I just moved last week, and I haven't had the time or energy to go grocery shopping yet. So, I have turned to Wahoo's. Wahoo's is tasty, fast, and affordable. It's also healthier than fast food, which is what I am trying to avoid until I go get some groceries. Last night I had a Banzai Bowl (rice, beans, meat, light teriyaki sauce with bell peppers, broccoli, mushrooms & onions) with all rice and chicken. A few days ago I had the same thing, but with the spicy chicken. The carne asada is good too. My boyfriend has been getting the Baja Rolls, which are cream cheese, spinach, chicken and salsa rolled up in a flour tortilla. Yum. Last night he tried the California Burrito. It was a special, not on the normal menu, but it had all kinds of stuff in it, including carne asada and french fries. He loved it. I think my run at Wahoo's is going to come to an end today, since I finally have time to hit up the grocery store. Thank you, Wahoo's for being there for me when I was moving, unpacking, and irritated. Thank you for providing me with filling, healthy, delicious food for a decent price, and not making me wait around forever for it. Even after I start cooking at home again, I will remember you, and I will make sure to drive down the hill to eat at your establishment on lazy days when cooking isn't something I want to do.

This is one of the places that is close to the hotel I stay at when I come into town for work. I have only visited twice but both times the food has been really yummy. I enjoy that the (white) rice is not something you get at other mexican style places. I may not be eating extremely healthy but it sure does make me think I am. I enjoy the tacos, simple and fresh. Until the day I no longer get to travel to Anaheim, I will visit and eat!

Super unimpressive, especially for the price and quality of the food. I paid around 14 dollars for a two taco combo (comes with beans and rice). I also ordered a side of chips and guacamole. My food arrived and the tacos where mostly cabbage with a small piece of fish. The beans where tasty but the rice was kind of hard and bland. The best part of the meal was the guacamole and chips. I had to add salt and hot sauce to the guacamole to suit it to my liking (which isn't a problem). I had to remove most of the cabbage from my taco and add guacamole to make it palatable. The white beans where tasty. The rice didn't really taste like much but it was filling.I think children and teenagers are wrapped up in the pseudo-cool surf/skate ambiance of wahoo's (the food i had sucked). For 14 bucks I could have gone elsewhere or gone to the store and picked something out and made a better meal. I probably won't come back here by choice.

Wow, I didnt know there was a Wahoos in YL! As I thought the closest one was in CM. Anyhow. I ordered one of the combo plates, one taco and one burrito with beans and rice. I chose shrimp for the taco and chicken for the burrito. The first thing I bit into was the shrimp taco and it was deeeelish! The shrimp was cooked to perfection, not dry or chewy, it was seasoned perfectly and there were lots of shrimp in there. Next I ate the chicken burrito, but it was a bit bland. It seemed like it was missing something. There was some shredded cheese, cooked chicken and lettuce, but it didnt really taste like a burrito, more like a wrap. That was just ok, I dont think I would order that again. I ordered the white spicy beans and brown rice and that was purely awesome. Right amount of texture in the rice (it wasn't all dryish hard) and the beans were in tact meaning it wasn't over-cooked and melting, wasn't all dry and hard either. Their chips and salsa is always a good starter too. I heard about their yum cilantro sauce, can't wait to go back there to try that. Seems a bit pricey, but if you want good seafood, you need to pay for it. There was one guy who was an awesome waiter. Well, he's not really a waiter in that they don't have a designated wait-staff, more like people who go around and make sure tables are clear, things like that but they will still go out of their way to get you napkins and stuff if you need it. My husband went up to the counter to ask for lime, and one of the guys with a tray full of food was about to walk out that way my husband was coming up. He asked my husband if he needed anything, and when he said he wanted lime, he went back really quickly to get it for him before going out to serve the food. Just thoughtful. And they clean up your plates quickly so you don't have to sit there with the plate in your way. Makes me feel happy to experience those little gestures of kind service.

Wahoo's- good service, decent food! Parking: Plentiful parking located behind an abandoned auto dealership and in the Savi Ranch shopping mecca! Atmosphere: Rubio's meets a surf shop. Lots of surf bumper-stickers that add to the beach-like vibe. Service: Consistently friendly and prompt. Food: On my most recent visit I ordered the kalua pork bowl. I've had the real thing in Hawaii roasted in an actual imu, but this impromptu version was pretty good while not exactly served in a bowl. The dish more or less resembled pulled pork and tasted like teriyaki, the meat was very tender though. The serving size can easily feed two. I also sampled the Maui onion rings which were tasty, crisp, and extra thick. Wahoo's has a way with rice, and while it is simple in execution, the flavor is very good and an excellent partner with their signature beans. A good alternative to the other chains in Savi Ranch!

Have you ever felt like you're being watched while you eat? Well, that's the feeling I got while dining in Wahoo's in Yorba Linda. The food was great as it is at all Wahoo's that I've been to, but there was something strange in the air. It has little to do with the employees of the restaurant and nothing to do with the food. The clientele was sort of rude. People kept looking over like they either a) wanted to eat what I was eating b) wanted to stab me c) were memorized by my dashing good looks. I'd like to think c, but they were mostly dudes...so no. Anyhow, I'm not in Yorba Linda much so my guess is that's just how Yorba Lindians are by nature (or choice). Just ignore those folks. Oh yeah, if you're not familiar with the area, this place is particularly hard to find. Word of advice: don't rely on Google Maps. Take the Yorba Linda Blvd exit north and drive towards the Best Buy. Excellent food, weird regular customers. 3 stars.

I came back here at least 10 more times. (My roommate and I really like it for the fast food, good price, friendly staff, and low cal). It seems like that one day was only a fluke. I've been back a few times when it was extremely crowded but they never again messed up an order or anything.

#1 with a drink refill is around $5. Consistent food at great prices. Spicy chicken tacos are my favorite.

I live near this place, like 15 minutes or so away from here. Tonight was my 3rd time here. I normally go to the one in Huntington Beach (usually only in Summer) This small seems small but big at the same time. The workers are really nice and service is quick. Fish taco are bomb. Had the guacamole for the first time and it was pretty nice, but I generally like to taste the salt when I have guacamole. Great place to go with friends, or as a family, and even alone. Serving sizes can be quite big, so if you come here and you're on a diet, you can definitely take half your plate to-go. Just half a serving of your plate will fill you up ;)

Well Wahoo's seemed to disappoint today. I have enjoyed Wahoo's in the past but today it did not seem as flavorful as the past. Maybe it is this location or maybe it is my memory. Anyway, the food was OK but not great. Wahoo's decor personifies skate and surf lifestyle with Wahoo's being decorated in skate and surf sticker. Everywhere. Even the toilet had stickers on it. The service was excellent for this type of place. They came by the table and checked if we needed anything several times. Very attentive. Nice job. The food was filling but just didn't do it for me. No knock on them, maybe just a bad day. Price was expected not too high or low. Will likely return to this or another Wahoo's in the future.

I went here for the 1st time on 4/9/2011 & loved it. A good assortment of Fresh choices. Friendly people. I ordered the shrimp tacos with lime cilantro white rice & black beans.

Another great place to eat! People were friendly and my food was good.

I feel like I eat here way too much but the food is so simple and SO GOOD and the prices are reasonable and they have Pepsi products so there you go! No complaints and they have never messed up my order in years.

The best fish tacos!! The rest of the menu is also great. Very clean and the staff is very knowledgeable. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Wahoo's is the only place I'll eat a fish taco. The problem is I had one at Wahoo's before trying other restaurant's fish tacos. They are all now ruined. I always order the #2 with blackened fish tacos, only cheese, with white rice and black beans, with salsa on the side. I could eat this every day. The quality of the fish and the quantity has been better than most at the Yorba Linda location. Another favorite of mine is the teriyaki chicken bowl, but I tend to stick with the fish tacos because they're that good.

Best place around, I literally eat at this location 3-5 days a week (on average) for the 4-5 years..great fresh food and staff is always friendly.

Good Wahoo's location, fast and friendly service. Always busy during work week and very well managed.

Wahoo's Taco's. What can I say?? Killer food. Awesome atmosphere. They have a good selection of beer. They always have a "Monthly Beer" for like $2/2.50 can't remember but who cares? I love this place.... P.S Ask for some stickers! I love stickers and they give them to you upon request. You can even put them on CERTAIN parts of the place. WIN! Or take em' home whatever, anyway the chicken taco's, fish doesn't matter. Black beans are the best...

When there is a polaroid of Travis Barker (drummer of Blink 182 and star of his own reality TV show on MTV) you know that this Wahoo's joint is good. I love Wahoo's and always come for lunch or take out for dinner. The way they decorate the place may at first seem messy but it's actually pretty cool with all the surfboards, skateboards, stickers on the walls. Their fish tacos are good! Plus that's what they are known for. Order the combo plates and it comes with a side of beans and ahi rice. You really can't go wrong with any selection. Their burritos are huge and good too! They have monthly rotating beers. Usually local beers. I remember once a San Diego based one. It tasted pretty bad but it was cheap and you can't expect much of American beers and if it's cheap. If you're in Savi Ranch and buying some toys at Best Buy then eat here rather than the other fast food joints.

I'm literally still sitting in the restaurant and I had to say it's not bad. My hubby got the Maui bowl which he loves. And I got the bonzai burrito with asada and Cajun beans. Oh and for appetizer the Baja rolls were amaze, especially paired with the guac sauce. Thanks Wahoo's!

First time here and I had Entree #2 Taco & Enchilada-green sauce, black beans, brown rice and chips & salsa. I have to say I was not to happy. The food had NO flavor, the steak taco looked like it was prepared by a 4 yr old. the brown rice looked yummy but boy was I wrong. The salsa tasted like a bowl full of diced tomatoes in water. Maybe to the locals, this is one great Mexican joint but for this Mexican doll who knows how to eat & knows her good... Sorry, my first n last time coming here.

Grilled fish taco with citrus slaw, carnitas, or carne asada... can't go wrong at Wahoo's! Black beans and brown rice are great too. I haven't tried the bowls, mostly because I love the tacos too much!!

Wahoo's, in my opinion, is perfection, and this location is no different. Their shrimp tacos are to die for - seasoned well, tender not tough, and served with yummy cabbage on corn tortillas. The ahi rice is pretty much heaven. A one taco plate with rice and beans (no drink) costs around $4.50. I think the two taco costs $1.50 or so more. Wahoo's single-handedly fed me through college. You can't get a Carl Jr's combo meal for under $7 now. This location has super friendly staff and overly generous portions (compared to other Wahoo's). I am so stoked I work near Wahoo's because I could literally eat here every day.

Great quality, nice location, speedy service. Try the Maui bowl with brown rice & spicy beans. Yum!

This place is a great Taco place. I eat the taco's al la carte, mushroom (spicyish) and fish (plain). Always love it. The staff are very congenial, and are more than ready to help you when they get to your table. It's always good to get there before the lunch or dinner rush!

Great prices, fantasic fish tacos, good salsa, friendly staff, what else is there.

Katie M.
Great food! A bit overpriced for what you get but the food is tasty so that is all that matters. I got the vegetarian burrito and it was delicious! I didn't think I could finish the whole thing because their portions are overly generous but I did. The service is fast and everyone who works there is very friendly.
(4)
Doug B.
Their fish tacos are okay. Better than Rubio's at least. I have had better though. I really wanted to like Wahoo's but it falls short of great. Average.

Great healthy feeling food. Tried the tacos and burritos and both are great.

I've eaten here countless times on my lunch break from work. The food here is delicious! The steak burritos are great, the chicken enchiladas with red sauce are awesome, too. My favorite is the Maui Bowl -- teriyaki marinated steak on a bed of ahi rice with either black or spicy white beans. My pick are the white beans or all rice. If you're going during popular times (lunch, dinner), I would recommend calling in your order, whether you're eating there or taking it home. Service is great, the employees are all friendly and know me by name. The facilities are very well kept, much cleaner than most other fast food restrooms you'll see in the area.
(5)
Selene L.
The combo #1 is a great deal with 1 enchilada and lots of rice and beans for less than $4. Its tasty and healthy, especially with fish and the fat-free green sauce. I like to get extra green sauce and salsa (both are free) to mix with the rice, which makes the flavorful rice even better. I wasn't as impressed with the Banzai burrito, since there was too much teriyaki sauce for me, but overall, the food is filling without being heavy.

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

(4)Julie C.
Love this place. Love the chicken taquitos and the chips and salsa are the best. Great food and great service.
(4)Joshua K.
(5)Mel A.
(4)GillianMay L.
I had the carnita bowl and iced tea last time I was there. The meat was really dry and the iced tea tasted funny... But the people there are nice.
(3)Jennifer K.
(2)Theresa F.
(4)Eric R.
Quality food and friendly service. Bowls are awesome. The Kalua pork is a sleepy on the menu!
(4)Doug A.
(4)Lee N.
This is the problem with small franchises, inconsistency. The grilled fish tacos tasted like dog food, they were rubbery and definitely overcooked. The lime rice, which is usually my favorite thing there, was bland and flavorless. Never going here again.
(1)K D.
(1)Father T.
Simply the best fish tacos around. Place can get crowded at lunch time. Friendly people. Clean establishment. Strongly recommended.
(4)Joseph W.
Straight up Tacos shop, nothing wrong with that.
(3)Birinder S.
(2)Paul K.
I come here all the time and I love this place. I got the 2 enchilada combo with pinto beans....green sauce...white rice. There's just something about that green sauce that I love. Their service is great and have affordable prices.
(4)Arron H.
(4)Cheryl S.
(2)Rob W.
(5)S. M.
(2)Tim W.
(5)Ninja N.
(4)Robt R.
I've been coming here for a few years and was ok with the food. This time, not a fan. I got steak enchiladas with red sauce. The sauce tasted like tomato soup. A very light red color, not deep like enchilada sauce should be. Service was fine as always but no going back for me.
(2)Dawn M.
(2)Seth B.
Wahoo's is awesome. The fish tacos are second to none. The rice and beans are exceptional and spiced perfectly. The food is always fresh, and the staff is efficient. If you're looking for a good, fresh, and healthy meal....look no further.
(5)Travis T.
(5)Temenah C.
(4)Scott T.
(4)Zuly R.
Service and food is always on point. Customer service is EXCELLENT they go above and beyond to meet your needs-make your food exactly as you like it.
(4)Erik R.
Good food, great atmosphere, cool people. Riddled with action sports stickers. TV's always playing action sports movies. Tortilla soup is good. Known for their fish tacos but have plenty other good items on the menu. Also serve alcohol which is rare with fast food.
(4)Shirley V.
(5)Steven P.
(4)Jennifer C.
Service is always amazing. The staff are always very curteous and helpful with the menu. Love coming here for lunch!
(5)Paul S.
The fish taco combination is the bomb. I had it with the Cajun spice grilled fish with brown rice and black beans. A huge portion for lunch for under $10.
(5)JOHN W.
(5)GlamKat L.
love everything about wahoos first time I went here was before they were a huge chain..the original one was in the not so nice part of costa mesa..I was happy when they started expanding so nice when they built one close to where i live now. always fresh, healthy and tastey..my favorite thing to eat is the carnitas tacos..black beans and white rice..great salsa..i love their ice teas ..they have two kinds.I always get the mexican ice cream bars..yummy.eat there or take out. They are great because food and service is always great, great.great they have got their business principles right..nice prices too!
(5)Tony L.
(2)Ryan S.
(4)P G.
I have to admit the reviews are right, good grub that does not taste like fast food!! The fish tacos were yummy and the steak burrito was way good!! Great to share!!
(4)Tim K.
(5)Lauren K.
Really enjoyed their citrus slaw! Very delicious on my fish tacos. Want to come back and try something different next time. Liked the hipster vibe and decor of the restaurant.
(3)Jenny L.
(3)Nicole A.
(5)Mindy B.
Food is always good, and the staff is extremely friendly.
(5)Tina C.

Consistent wahoos service. Very family friendly and tasty food. Just stay away from noon to 1pm on Saturdays! Families everywhere!

Consistent, healthy and flavorful! Always order the blackened fish taco plate with black beans and brown rice. Love the Mr. Lees hot sauce!

The spicy fish tacos are very good. You can get it with black beans and brown rice. Delicious.

If the relationship of father to son could really be reduced to biology, the whole earth would blaze with the glory of fathers and sons -- James A. Baldwin If you would have your son to walk honourably through the world, you must not attempt to clear the stones from his path, but teach him to walk firmly over them - not insist upon leading him by the hand, but let him learn to go alone -- Anne Bronte This is the first place I ate at after my son was born at a nearby hospital. I remember eating a plate of fish tacos, beans and rice in a state of shock, uncertainty..and a bit of awe...and terror :) 9 1/2 years later...the shock and awe may have left a bit but there still resides a bit of the terror and uncertainty; which all parents feel. I'm a bit blessed though...he is a good boy...brillant sense of humor....very sharp...healthy...three girls in his class like him :) He's doing better than Dad at this stage! ;) And he is soon at the age where we will have to let him go and find his own path...it is his time now as my sunset gets a bit closer to me than I'd like. Oh, the review...if you like Wahoos, you will like this one. Always very good with excellent service. I've received extra salsa several times without even asking. My favorite are the bowls...both chicken and Maui..and they have brown rice! Yum :) And no Randi B., I'm not Yelp stalking you...I just work in AH now too!

Nothing like it! Awesome, awesome fish tacos and great beer selection too. Also try the Bonzai burrito with red sauce. i have to travel to the east coast often for work and often wish they had a Wahoo's on the east coast! Wahoo's, if you are reading... please open up some shops on the east coast!

(5)Nicole F.

The beefs bowls are killer

Another great place to eat! People were friendly and my food was good.
(5)Dan N.
I feel like I eat here way too much but the food is so simple and SO GOOD and the prices are reasonable and they have Pepsi products so there you go! No complaints and they have never messed up my order in years.
(5)Dan W.
The best fish tacos!! The rest of the menu is also great. Very clean and the staff is very knowledgeable. I would recommend this place to everyone!
(5)Josh C.
(5)Matthew V.
Best place around, I literally eat at this location 3-5 days a week (on average) for the 4-5 years..great fresh food and staff is always friendly.
(5)JT N.
Good Wahoo's location, fast and friendly service. Always busy during work week and very well managed.
(4)Anthony U.

(4)Monica K.
(4)Nancy Q.
(1)Jason P.
Grilled fish taco with citrus slaw, carnitas, or carne asada... can't go wrong at Wahoo's! Black beans and brown rice are great too. I haven't tried the bowls, mostly because I love the tacos too much!!
(5)Melissa H.
(5)Kim C.
Great quality, nice location, speedy service. Try the Maui bowl with brown rice & spicy beans. Yum!
(4)Sarah H.
This place is a great Taco place. I eat the taco's al la carte, mushroom (spicyish) and fish (plain). Always love it. The staff are very congenial, and are more than ready to help you when they get to your table. It's always good to get there before the lunch or dinner rush!
(5)T S.
Great prices, fantasic fish tacos, good salsa, friendly staff, what else is there.
(5)Katie M.
Great food! A bit overpriced for what you get but the food is tasty so that is all that matters. I got the vegetarian burrito and it was delicious! I didn't think I could finish the whole thing because their portions are overly generous but I did. The service is fast and everyone who works there is very friendly.
(4)Doug B.
Their fish tacos are okay. Better than Rubio's at least. I have had better though. I really wanted to like Wahoo's but it falls short of great. Average.
(3)Michael T.
Great healthy feeling food. Tried the tacos and burritos and both are great.
(4)Jason S.
(5)Selene L.
